DG Maritime Sdn Bhd is established in February 2021 with the aim to provide Dangerous Goods (DG) solutions to all our clients.

The founder of the company, Mr Kelvin Lee has more than 15 years of experience in logistics industry includes handling DG cargoes and Container Packing Certificate (CPC) survey.

Our services to local cargoes and international as we have worldwide connection with international agencies to provide one-stop logistics services to all clients.

Who is DG Maritime?

DG Maritime Sdn Bhd was established in February 2021 with the aim to provide Dangerous Goods (DG) solutions to all our clients.

Our services are not limited to local cargoes but international transactions. We have worldwide connections with international agencies to provide one-stop logistics services to all clients.

What is Dangerous Goods (DG?)

Dangerous Goods are goods (articles or substances) which are capable of posing a significant risk to the health, safety, property, community or environment when transported by air, sea, road or rail.

How to classify Dangerous Goods?

Today there is a long list of Dangerous Goods, charted under the IMDG code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code). This list includes such commodities as propane gas lighters, ordinary wall paint, fireworks, liquor and garden weed-killer which are divided into 9 main groups.

Class 1: Explosives
Class 2: Gasses
Class 3: Flammable Liquids
Class 4: Flammable Solids
Class 5: Oxidizing Substances and Organic Peroxides
Class 6: Toxic and Infectious Substances
Class 7: Radioactive Materials
Class 8: Corrosive Substances
Class 9: Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances and Articles

What do we cover in our CPC services?

Our CPC inspection covers the following scope:-

- Identifying Proper Shipping Name /UN No. of the Dangerous goods
- Classifying the dangerous goods based on Proper Shipping Name / Un No.
- Inspecting the cargo packing group/ condition/ suitability/ marking/labeling
- Supervising the proper loading of cargo into the Cargo Transport Unit (CTU) with the right segregation between DG class if any.
- Witnessing proper cargo securing and finally Sealing of the CTU
- Labeling of CTU at all 4 panels with proper DG stickers / Un No.
- Issuing of container Packing Certificate (CPC)
